The model-turned-actor was up early to promote her new film, teen romancePaper Towns, but her on-camera performance didn’t sit well with the hosts. Delevingne’s sarcastic answers (“No, I didn’t read the book or the script”) fell flat, though she might be forgiven for being a little put out after one of the anchors mistakenly called her Carla.
Things rapidly went from bad to worse, and at one point co-host Mark S Allen interrupted to ask whether there was a problem or whether she was “just exhausted”. Delevingne explained that it was the night after the premiere, which was “emotional”.
When anchor Marianne McClary asked her whether she was irritated or whether it was the fault of the show, Delevingne replied, “No, I think it’s just you.”

Once the interview was cut short, the hosts expressed their frustration with the actor and her attitude.
“You make $5m for six weeks’ worth of work, you can pretend to talk to Good Day Sacramento with some oomph,” said Allen.
Paper Towns is based on a novel by John Green, and opened last weekend in the US with a somewhat soft $12.6m – though the $12m budget means the film will still be seen as a hit. The adaptation of another Green novel, The Fault in Our Stars, was one of last summer’s biggest sleeper hits.
Delevingne will be seen next alongside Will Smith and Jared Leto in the much-anticipated DC supervillains blockbuster Suicide Squad.
